Cari over at Time for Play is always coming up with the cutest activities for her Early Childhood classroom! Take, for example, this super simple velcro activity she put together to give her kiddos extra fine motor skill practice. With only a few simple items, your kiddos will be occupied for hours!

Supplies:

Jumbo Craft Sticks

Velcro Dots

Hot Glue Gun

Bottle Lids (in assorted colors)

Using a hot glue gun, adhere velcro dots to the ends of jumbo craft sticks (on each side), as well as to the middle of a few. Adhere a velcro dot to the top of each bottle lid as well (make sure you have an assortment of colors - size shouldn't matter). Once the glue has had a chance to set, you're ready to go!

Cari recommends hot gluing the velcro dots even if they are adhesive to provide added reinforcement.
