Provide each student with a shamrock shape pre-cut from green foam. You will also need a large assortment of peel-off shamrock stickers. Try to find different patterns, colors and embellishments for added interest (glitter, plaid, gold, shiny, etc.). Then have your students get to decorating! Peeling off the backs of the stickers will be great fine motor pratice for your youngsters.

If you happen to have a 'seasonal' tree in your classroom, add the completed shamrocks for a St. Patrick's Day touch! You could also hang them from your classroom ceiling to display your kiddos hard work.

Rainbow Collage

To add a little color to your St. Patrick's Day festivities, have your students help you complete a rainbow collage! You will need to start with bulletin board paper in the colors of the rainbow (purple, red, orange, yellow, green and blue). Cut the paper into the shape of a rainbow and adhere it to a classroom wall or bulletin board.

Then, have your kiddos practice their cutting and pasting skills by finding and cutting out pictures from magazines to coordinate with the colors of the rainbow. What a cute and colorful idea!!

Side Note: You may want to assign each child a color so you don't end up with only blue photos.
