St. Patrick's Day is quickly approaching! Do you find yourself in need of a way to add a little leprechaun fun to your lesson plans?? If so, be sure to check out this adorable glyph activity featured by Kathy over at First Grade a la Carte. Kathy provides everything you will need to complete the project with your class (aside from the construction paper and glue of course!).

Leprechaun Glyph

The patterns and instructions you will need are provided here. With the patterns in hand, all you will need are scissors, glue, markers and construction paper in two shades of green, yellow, black, tan and orange. Have your students answer the following questions to complete their leprechauns:

Here are a few examples completed by Kathy's class. It will be cute to see how many students claim to have actually spotted a leprechaun (indicated by yellow buttons)!
