Incorporate two of Dr. Seuss's most popular characters into your Dr. Seuss celebration with this adorable craft featured by Erin over at Creating & Teaching!

Materials

Red and White construction paper

Blue crayons

Blue Easter grass

Scissors

Glue

Black marker

Thing 1 & Thing 2 clip-art

Completing the Craft

Provide each student with a piece of red construction paper with the body already drawn on in black marker. Then, have students glue on the character's head (that has been pre-printed onto white paper using a clip-art image) and color in the hair with a blue crayon.

Next, provide students with a Thing 1 or Thing 2 label and have them cut out the circle and glue it onto the body.

For that extra special touch, complete the craft by having students glue blue Easter grass to the hair for a super cool 3-D effect! If you don't have blue grass handy, you could always use yarn or glitter for your special addition. Either would look great!
