Thanksgiving Writing Craftivity

Realizing that Thanksgiving is right around the corner, we decided to check out her holiday resources and found this fun writing craftivity! While having your kiddos write about the things they're thankful for is not a new concept, we love the unique presentation and think students will have fun writing/illustrating their thoughts in the letters of the word "THANKFUL".

While we love the idea of completing this project individually, this would also make an awesome collaborative project. Cut large letters from bulletin board paper and arrange them on the classroom wall or in the hallway, then assign groups of students (or each classroom in the hallway) a letter to decorate. The finished product is sure to be colorful and provide a festive decoration that can be displayed throughout the holiday season!

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on those things in our lives that we're thankful for. Whether this craftivity is completed individually or as part of a group, the message remains the same - we have a lot to be thankful for!
