The feel of warm sunlight, the sound of birds chirping, the smell of freshly mowed grass - spring is a delight for the senses and these spring guess bags from Carolyn over at The Pleasantest Thing offer a great opportunity to focus on sense of touch! Simple to put together, all you'll need are some recycled paper bags or paper sandwich bags and various 'spring' objects to put inside.

Spring objects you might consider...

  • Flower blooms
  • Seed packet
  • Gardening tools - gardening rake, gloves, etc.
  • Bottle of sunscreen
  • Soil
  • Grass clippings
  • Small Terra Cotta planter/pot
  • Bird nest
  • Bird eggs (replicas, of course)

Add in a blindfold and we know your kiddos will have a blast using their sense of touch to determine what is in each bag!
