100th Day Game - Hunting for Hershey Kisses
Over at Kindergarten Hoppenings, Shannon adds a sweet twist to counting and numeral recognition - inviting her kiddos to go on a 100th day scavenger hunt for Hershey kisses! While her students are out of the classroom, Shannon sets about hiding chocolate candies that have been labeled with numbers {from one through 100} using adhesive circle labels all around the room. Upon their return, students are invited to go on a scavenger hunt, collecting a specified number of candies and then working to match each candy to the appropriate space on the game mat.
A unique way to practice early math skills, we think this would make an excellent addition to your 100th day of school lesson plans!
