Spring Beginning Sound Cover-up Game

Beginning Letter Sounds Literacy Preschool Printable

How cute is this literacy game from Colleen over at Teaching Heart Blog! We think it's a fabulous way to help your kiddos review beginning letter sounds independently. Provide your kiddos with a caterpillar game board and cocoon letter cards - inviting them to identify the pictures on the game board, determine it's beginning letter sound, and cover the picture with the corresponding cocoon letter card.

Use the printables as intended or cut both cocoon letter cards and the game board apart, having your students use them to play a game - Concentration, Go Fish!, etc. You might also consider placing all the cards in a bag, inviting each student to select a card, then on your mark try to find their classmate with the matching card.
