Yes, we realize that tomorrow is the big day, but we found these awesome Valentine's Day resources over at Little Literacy Learners and had to pass them on! There are so many great things, we can't talk about them all, but here's an overview of the {FREE} printables you'll find...

  • The Valentine: An Emergent Student Reader. Students will have a blast reading the story, reviewing focus sight words, and coloring the picture cards!
  • Love Birds: Sight Word Find. Using a magnifying glass, students are invited to find 27 sight words hidden in the cutesy Valentine scene and write them on a recording sheet!
  • Monster Love: Letter Identification. Students can play all sorts of letter recognition, sound identification, and spelling games with these adorable monster themed upper and lower case letter cards. For younger children, you might even consider creating multiple sets and have them race to put the cards in alphabetical order!
  • Valentine's Day ABC Path. Presented with a paper covered with letter hearts, students are invited to color a path from A to Z - great for letter recognition and ordering!

Aren't these just incredible?! And that's just the tip of the iceberg - there are a couple more  V-day themed worksheets that Mrs. McKown offers for free as well - so be sure to head on over to Little Literacy Learners for these fabulous resources!
