We just love all the 100th Day celebration ideas we've been finding! Perfect for building early math skills, this estimation activity from Jill over at Mrs. T's First Grade Class would be the perfect addition to your lesson plans!

Taking every day actions like blinking and counting to ten, Mrs. T had her kiddos estimate how many times they could complete each action in 100 seconds. For example, "I estimate that I can blink 125 times in 100 seconds." Then she timed her students while they actually completed the activities, inviting her kiddos to compare the actual number with the estimated number and finally discuss the results as a class. What fun!

The best part about this activity is, if you don't want to make your own, she provides the activity printable FREE over at her blog! Be sure to visit Mrs. T's First Grade Class, not only for this awesome exercise, but for lots of other great 100th Day activities as well!
