  • Use these cards for a "30 Days of Thanks" project. Each day during the month of November, write down something or someone you are grateful for and hang the colorful tags on a 'thankful tree'.
  • Use them as tags for Thanksgiving treat bags and gifts for family/friends.
  • Write notes to friends and loved ones letting them know you're thankful for them!
  • Create cards for learning games!
    • Print letters of the alphabet onto the tags and... 1)Invite students to practice ordering the cards, 2) place the cards in the middle of the table and have students take turns selecting and identifying the letter, or 3) create two sets and play a game of Concentration.
    • Print simple addition/subtraction problems onto one set of cards and their solutions onto another. Have students build early math skills by making appropriate matches.
    • Create sets of tags with numerals, tally marks, number words, and dots. Invite students to find all of the matches.

There are so many great things you can do with these cards, be sure to visit Silly Eagle Books for the original project that inspired these adorable thumbprint turkeys and for tons of other great learning ideas!
