Looking for a fun way for your kiddos to show Dad how much they love him this Father's Day? Check out this adorable gift wheel we found over at Kids Craft of the Month Club blog! The best part is, all you need is a paper plate, construction paper in assorted colors, scissors, glue, and a fine tipped black marker to start crafting ~ and we love that each gift will be truly unique!

Invite your kiddos to think of what Dad is responsible for around the house {things that he might like a break from every now and then}...

  • Mowing the lawn
  • Cleaning out the garage
  • Washing the car
  • Cooking/grilling

...or perhaps some special thing they could do for their father that they know he would enjoy {i.e. make him a rootbeer float, breakfast in bed, etc.}, then have them select six of their favorites and use these ideas to fill their wheel.

[NOTE: We love the adorable cutouts that go with each task/gift on the original board, but a simpler route might be to have your students draw a corresponding picture or cut out images from recycled magazines.]
