Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and if you're looking for a last minute craft/lesson for your kiddos, you might consider this fun color theory activity from Kathy Barbro of Art Projects for Kids! The results - 'hearts of many colors' - is gorgeous and could be used to create beautiful homemade valentines to send home to family and friends!

Supplies You'll Need

Have students jump right in, using their brush to paint rows of hearts on their paper. The goal - paint each heart a different color. The results are just gorgeous! Make the prints into valentines (like we suggested above), cut the rows apart to create a custom Valentine's Day bulletin board border, or even cut the hearts apart and add a glue dot to the back to create cutesy stickers!
