How amazing is this decorative board from Mandmevents?! The handmade elements are stunning and we love the use of three-dimensional props. If you haven't planned your Halloween decor, this design is sure to make a great addition to the classroom or hallway!

Spooktacular Story!

  • Background: Black bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "Spooktacular Story!"
  • Border: We love the use of the Halloween themed "Beware" tape. It adds a nice three-dimensional aspect to the board. However, you could also use a Halloween themed bulletin board border.
  • Decoration: 1) The Moonscape. Both the moon and the tree were hand-drawn and painted. If that seems a bit daunting, we recommend finding a clip art image of the moon to enlarge and print, as well as the image of a haunted fall tree that can be enlarged, traced onto black bulletin board paper, and highlighted/shaded with oil pastels. 2) The Spider Webs. Use store-bought decorative webs and plastic spiders for a fun three-dimensional look. 3) The Ghosts. Purchase ghost accents or find a ghost template online to print onto white card stock. Add student names to the ghost cutouts and arrange them around the board.
