Super Cute Maple Leaf Turkey Crafts for Thanksgiving!
We found this craft over at Almost Unschoolers and loved the use of natural crafting elements! Not to mention, the craft is super simple so it can be done with any age group!
Materials
large maple leaves
orange and light blue construction paper
red tissue paper
wiggle eyes
craft glue
Creating the Maple Leaf Turkey
The directions are quite simple and the pictures provide a great tutorial!
Glue two maple leaves together and paste them to the piece of light blue construction paper.
Cut a beak from orange construction paper...
...and a wattle from red tissue paper.
Glue on some wiggle eyes.
And, finally, manipulate the stems of the leaves to create the legs/feet of the turkey.
