Sensory Bin Idea for Spring

Create a simple and entertaining sensory bin for your kiddos this Spring by using the bin created by Annie over at The Moffatt Girls as inspiration. You'll only need a few items and your students will be set for hours of sensory play fun!

Fill a container with wild birdseed and throw in a few objects such as plastic Easter eggs, small buckets, base ten frames, corn kernels, etc. (Annie's example contained Easter items, but you could easily substitute Spring items in their place). And that's it! It really is that simple - let the sensory play begin!

This sensory bin would provide a perfect opportunity for your kiddos to work on basic skills such as counting, sorting, filling and pouring, and simple addition and subtraction.
