Looking for a simple - and inexpensive - project to celebrate Earth Day with your class? Then check out this Earth Day collaboration collage featured by Debbie over at RainbowsWithinReach!

Earth Day Collage

Supplies:

Green pool noodle (blue would work too)

Tissue paper in blues and greens

White bulletin board paper

Scissors

Glue sticks

You'll want to pick up a green or blue pool noodle at your local dollar store before you start this project with your class. Debbie recommends securing the pool noodle into a circle with a golf club grip, or something simliar. You most likely already have the rest of the supplies you'll need at your fingertips! Told you this project would be inexpensive! :)

Arm each of your kiddos with a pair of scissors and have them cut tissue paper into small pieces. You'll need a lot of little pieces to complete the collage!

Then, place the pool noodle circle onto white bulletin board paper and have your students fill the circle with their tissue paper.

Finish the collage by having your students place their hands around the pool noodle and taking a picture. What a great way to show that we can all help to protect the Earth!

If you'd like to use the collage as a bulletin board display, attach the pool noodle with craft glue or a glue gun and cut the white paper around the noodle to create a border. Voila! Bulletin board Earth Day display complete!!
