Paper Plate Christmas Tree Craft!
This paper plate Christmas tree craft is simple, festive, and perfect for crafters big and small! Inspired by this craft from Rachel over at I Heart Crafty Things, we tailored the supply list to fit what we found in our craft closet and think it turned out pretty good!
Materials
paper plate
scissors
green tissue paper
craft glue
paint brush
yellow and brown construction paper
assorted buttons
Creating the Tree
Cut the paper plate into thirds. Collage each section with pieces of green tissue paper.
Glue the collaged sections together, creating a layered effect.
Decorate the tree! Cut a trunk from the brown construction paper and a star from the yellow paper, and add 'garlands' made from colorful buttons.
While these festive crafts can be displayed anywhere, because of the collage effect, these trees make fun window decorations!
