Check out this awesome sensory math activity from Kim over at The Learning Hypothesis. Great for fine motor coordination as well as sorting and graphing practice, we think this would be a fantastic addition to your Halloween math centers!

To complete the activity all you'll need is a large plastic bin, colored rice, plastic spiders in assorted colors, and a sifting spoon. Additionally, Kim also created several data recording sheets to help her kiddos with the activity - a color sorting mat as well as a graphing worksheet. These printables helped her kiddos organize the collected 'data' in order to determine which color of spider they found the most of, least of, etc.

For this awesome math activity, as well as suggested literature to pair with it, be sure to check out the full post over at The Learning Hypothesis!
