How awesome is this?! Rachelle over at TinkerLab compiled this fabulous list of egg decorating ideas, things you can do with plastic eggs, Easter games, crafts, science projects, and more ~ and we think this "ginormous list of kid-friendly egg activities for Easter and Easter Egg Hunts" {as described by Rachelle!} is quite timely!

Great for use at home or in the classroom, we love that there is such a variety of ideas to choose from. Our favorites...

  • Easter Egg-speriments from Paint Cut Paste. Jen talks about all the different methods she and her daughter used to color Easter eggs! Seriously, we never knew there were SO many ways to decorate an Easter egg!
  • Fancy Shaker Eggs from Mama Smiles. MaryAnn created an assortment of vibrant plastic egg shakers - filling them with different materials to create a variety of sounds - for the kiddos to explore. They're just beautiful and would make a great addition to any early learning environment!
  • Crack Open the Egg and Paint from Teach Preschool. Deborah decided to give her preschoolers a unique painting experience, filling plastic eggs with watered down paint, and inviting students to "crack them" over a piece of paper for a fun splatter effect! She actually details 3 different ways to paint with the plastic Easter eggs and we know your kiddos will love them all!

These are just three of the fabulous ideas we found over at Tinker Lab. Be sure to visit Rachelle's Easter showcase for the links to these projects and check out the other 57 Easter craft/activity ideas!!

We hope you have a wonderful Easter!
