If you need a quick center or party activity for the coming Halloween holiday, try this cutesy roll a jack-o-lantern game we found at Oopsey Daisy. It's magnetic, so your kiddos are sure to play this one over and over, creating new faces and designs!

Supplies You'll Need

  • Round metal "trays" {Alison used inexpensive burner covers}
  • Orange card stock
  • Patterned craft paper
  • Mod Podge
  • Adhesive magnet strips or dots
  • Dice {either a number dice and corresponding key or a "part" dice}

After gathering your supplies, head on over to Oopsey Daisy for the full tutorial! If you don't want to mess with purchasing metal trays, you might also consider creating a non-magnetic version. Simply cut pumpkin shapes from sturdy card stock and laminate, inviting students to attach the jack-o-lantern pieces using Velcro dots. This version is probably not as sturdy, but it would still hold up to the holiday wear and tear!

Oopsey Daisy is a fabulous resource for all things crafty - after checking out the game tutorial, be sure to stick around and peruse all the fun projects Alison shares! You might just end up with lots more inspiration for your holiday to-do list!
