Apples, apples, and more APPLES! We found this cute apple themed graphing activity over at What the Teacher Wants and thought feeding your kiddos might get them super excited about math!

The gist...

Provide your preschoolers with several apple snack samples {i.e. applesauce, apple juice, etc.}, inviting them to try each one, determine which one they like best, and vote for their favorite. Once all the votes have been collected, as a class, work with your preschoolers to analyze the collected data - determining which apple snack was most preferred, which had the least votes, etc. [NOTE: It might be fun to make a class picture graph, then have your kiddos transfer the results to their recording sheet!]

Mixing math and snack time is sure to be a hit with your preschoolers! Head on over to What the Teacher Wants for this sweet download and, while you're there, we highly recommend checking out all the teaching ideas and resources Rachelle and Natalie graciously share!

**While canvassing our favorite teacher blog haunts for more apple activities, we found another apple snack graph/recording sheet over at KidsCount1234.com! The main difference, this printable incorporates pictures of each snack, which might make it a bit easier for your beginning readers!**
