What's not to love about mini books?! Michelle, former kindergarten teacher and creator of the site, Musings of Me, has put together 11 mini books that will help your preschoolers strengthen color word recognition and pre-writing skills. Her first download, available today, introduces the color blue, while the rest {with lots more colors!} will be available for download in the days to come!

  • Print onto plain printer paper, inviting students to color, trace, and assemble booklet pages to create their own {personal} color books.
  • Print onto card stock, cutting the booklet pages apart and laminating them in order to create color flip books for the classroom {i.e. punch a hole at the top left and hold the pages together with a binder ring}. Set out with dry erase markers so students can use them over and over again for pre-writing practice.
Be sure to head on over to Musings of Me for this great mini book printable {and hang around for the rest of the booklets in the series!}.
