The concept possibilities for this carrot garden literacy center created by Katey of Having Fun at Home are simply endless! {Well, maybe not endless, but you get the idea! This activity rocks!} Made from a recycled card board box and homemade card stock flower pot 'pockets', this activity will seem like a game rather than a learning center and, no matter what skill you invite your kiddos to practice, we know they'll have a blast with it!

NOTE: If you plan to tweak the activity to practice beginning letter sounds or rhyming pairs, we suggest creating carrots with picture cues. (See the example below.)
