{Fall Phonics} Describing Pumpkins

Fall Pumpkin Phonics Kindergarten Lesson Plan

While we recently talked about supplementing your hands-on pumpkin investigations with a lesson on adjectives, we love how Kathleen over at Growing Kinders put the exercise together. Instead of a traditional anchor chart {which can be super cute and effective, of course!}, she had her students place the adjectives - written on index cards - directly onto the pumpkin! This is a great way to motivate your kinders to participate inviting them to see if they can work together to cover the entire pumpkin with words that describe it!
