Easter Craftivity - The Life Cycle of a Butterfly

Spring and Easter are about renewal, metamorphosis, and new life. That's why the season offers a great opportunity for introducing life cycles - stages of growth - to your kinders. Yesterday we featured a fun craft/lesson that worked through the life cycle of a chicken. Today we found several cute ideas that will have your kiddos learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. As you talk about the different stages of growth, your kiddos will practice putting various events in order {perhaps using sequencing words like first, next, then, last, etc.} and will expand their vocabulary as you discuss what metamorphosis means and what a chrysallis is.
