DIY Textured Play Dough Rollers

Sensory Play for Preschoolers

We found these DIY textured rollers created by Emily over at Pottery Blog and thought they would be a fun addition to your play dough play this summer or next school year! The best part - all you need is a length of 1/2-inch PVC pipe cut into sections, a Sharpie, and a low temp glue gun. One of the main reasons we love Emily's crafting method is that, even if you're uncomfortable with your kiddos handling a glue gun, they can still help make their own roller. Simply invite them to draw their design on the pipe with a marker, and have an adult handle the rest - tracing the marker lines with the glue.
