Looking for a cute winter project for your kiddos? Here's an adorable penguin display from Laura of Come Together Kids {featured by Toni of Design Dazzle} - our favorite part, it's made from footprints!

Supplies You'll Need

Since Laura was creating a canvas keepsake, her list of materials is a little different, but the process is the same! We suggest one of two methods for creating the penguin bodies; have students trace their foot onto black construction paper, cut it out, and mount it onto a full piece of sky blue construction paper, or have students paint their foot with black craft paint {with the help of a classmate} and create a footprint directly onto the blue construction paper. From there, use the felt sheets to create the belly of the penguin, as well as the hat and scarf, and the orange construction paper and wiggle eyes to finish the face!
