Collaborative Recycling Art Project for Kids

How fantastic is this?! Holly of Lines, Dots, and Doodles came up with this awesome collaborative art project that is a great way for your kiddos to learn how to work with others as well as about recycling!

Supplies You'll Need

The process seems relatively simple. First, have your students collect bottle caps in all sizes and colors. When you've created a stockpile, decide on a design, creating a key for your students to follow {"color-by-number style" as Holly says}. Armed with low temp glue guns and the key, have your kiddos set to work! The results are phenomenal and provide colorful decor for the classroom! [NOTE: This would be a fantastic project to do during Earth Day festivities.]

Be sure to head on over to Lines, Dots, and Doodles to see Holly's process {including a picture of the project key} and the awesome results!
