Even though Valentine's Day has officially come and gone, here's a great craft to put in your inspiration folder for next year {or just complete anyway because it's darling!}. Featured by Maureen Spell of Spell Outloud, this no-bake cupcake craft is sure to be a "sweet treat" for any early childhood classroom!

Supplies You'll Need

Begin the process of creating no-bake cupcakes by designing a "cupcake liner" using construction paper in Valentine's colors (red, pink, purple, etc.). Trim the top edge of the selected paper with zigzag scissors, glue the paper to the cup (zigzag size up), then trim the excess paper and secure the edges. Choose a "frosting color", crumbling up a piece of construction paper in that color and gluing it to the top of the cup. Add some decorative embellishments on the liner and cupcake, and you're left with an adorable little cupcake - perfect for pretend play and classroom decor. [NOTE: If you "decorate" several sets of matching cupcakes, you can keep them in the classroom along with several cupcake tins for a fun, DIY matching game!]
